When you bring your child in for an appointment here at Falls Church Pediatric Dental Center, you may choose to wait in our reception area or accompany your child in one of our treatment rooms. If you decide you want to be in the same room to help them feel more relaxed, we ask that you follow these two guidelines to give your child a positive dental experience:
- Let our pediatric dentists and team prepare your child for their treatment.
- Be supportive of the words we use when communicating with your child. We try to avoid using any negative terms and encourage you to do the same so they do not view dentistry as something scary.
By supporting these guidelines, you will be able to help with the success of their appointment and make sure all goes well.
